Slovakia's governing coalition is working on getting Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) on board with a bill introducing financial aid to the public in light of current inflation, Prime Minister Eduard Heger said on Wednesday. "The talks are difficult, but they're going in the right direction. I hope that we'll have some results to present soon and aid for people will be expanded as we said it would be," Heger said, rejecting claims that the governing coalition was falling apart. Heger noted that the Government Manifesto doesn't mention that there will be no tax increases, explaining that SaS considers the move a taboo nevertheless. According to the premier, drawing "red lines" that contradict the Manifesto is "unacceptable".
