Prime Minister Eduard Heger on Wednesday called on people over the age of 50 to get vaccinated against Covid-19, pointing out that the unvaccinated are the more likely to end up in hospital and that vaccination is verifiably the best protection against infection. "A district is coloured on the basis of the [number of] infected people living in the district. It isn't coloured red or dark red on the basis of what we in Bratislava do, but on how many people in the district are tested positive," said Heger, adding that if a few dozen people get vaccinated, they can prevent their district from turning black. He mentioned Bratislava as an example, where the number of vaccinations is high, so it will never become black with the strictest rules.
