Mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 will become possible if a new coronavirus variant emerges and puts people in hospital in great numbers, Prime Minister Eduard Heger declared before the Government session on Wednesday. Slovakia is currently facing the onset of the omicron wave. How it will translate into hospital admittances remains to be seen. According to an analysis drafted by the Justice and Health Ministries, it would be possible to introduce mandatory vaccination in Slovakia.
