Monoclonal antibodies against COVID-19 have been administered to about 3,000 patients in 40 health facilities across Slovakia, TASR learnt from Health Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova on Monday. The monoclonal antibodies are given in the form of infusion to the people aged above 65 and patients suffering from serious ailments. They reduce the risk of death, severe course of the disease, critical conditions and, in some cases, even hospitalisation.
