The health ministry doesn't plan to change the strategy for vaccinating children aged 12 years and over, ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova told TASR on Monday. Eliasova confirmed that the ministry has taken note of the European Medicines Agency's (EMA) recommendation to expand the use of Moderna's Spikevax to adolescents aged between 12 and 17 years. "However, the Pfizer/BioNtech vaccine is currently being used for inoculating this age category in Slovakia," she said.
