The state of emergency in the Czech Republic, which the government plans to declare as of Monday to curb the spread of Covid-19, will be valid for a month, new Health Minister Roman Prymula told the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday. Prymula said he hoped that by that time, the planned two-week measures would sufficiently slow down the spread of the virus. "The state of emergency will end within a month. I believe it will not be necessary to prolong it. If we fail to push it down in a month, this will certainly be a failure," Prymula said.
