Health insurance companies could contribute to self-tests for Covid-19 in firms from their prevention funds, the Czech Health Ministry proposed in a document for the government meeting on Wednesday. The insurance companies would cover 60 crowns per test at maximum and they would co-finance four tests a month this way. This would also require an exemption issued by the Health Ministry, which would authorise the use of some tests as self-test kits. The exemption would last until the end of March when certified self-test kits might enter the Czech market.
