Health: Four new Omicron cases confirmed in Slovakia

Four additional omicron cases have been detected in Slovakia and all four persons were vaccinated with two doses against COVID-19, TASR learnt from the Public Health Office on Tuesday. Currently, there are 11 recorded cases of the omicron variant in Slovakia in total. All four infected had only mild course of the disease, with symptoms such as coughing and tiredness. The Public Health Office emphatically recommends vaccination against COVID-19 and the observing of measures. "The vaccination significantly reduces the risk of a serious course of the COVID-19 illness," added Mikas.
