Hamacek suing server over his cancelled trip to Moscow

Interior Minister Jan Hamacek has filed a criminal complaint about the server Seznam Zpravy over its report on his cancelled trip to Moscow, Hamacek told the website CNN Prima News today. Seznam Zpravy wrote earlier this year that Hamacek, at an internal meeting in mid-April, said he wanted to go to Moscow to "swap an international scandal" over the Russian secret services' suspected involvement in Czech ammunition store explosions in 2014 for supplies of the Sputnik V COVID vaccine to the Czech Republic and the choice of Prague as the venue of a Russian-U.S. presidential summit. Hamacek has categorically dismissed the allegations.
