Hamacek presents constitutional amendment on security

Interior Minister Jan Hamacek on Monday presented a draft amendment to the Czech Republic's constitution to introduce the state of danger and the state of threat as degrees of emergency situations in the country, along with the already existing state of emergency. The opposition said in reaction that they were ready to "discuss" the proposal but warned that it must be safeguarded against abuse.
