Hungary expects to take delivery of the first shipment of China's Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine next week, the prime minister's chief of staff said on Thursday. The first batch will contain 500,000 doses, Gergely Gulyas told a weekly press briefing, adding that Hungary's public health authority is yet to assess the vaccine. So far, more than 30 million people have been inoculated with the Sinopharm vaccine worldwide, including ethnic Hungarians living in Serbia, he said. Gulyas noted that Hungary is also set to receive 200,000 doses of Russia's Sputnik V vaccine this month.
