In the approaching new school year, schools will operate as they did before the Covid-19 pandemic, without any major restrictions, Education, Science, Research and Sport Minister Branislav Groehling told a press conference on Friday. Students will sit at their desks without the need to wear face masks and only a person tested positive will have to self-isolate. In the case of a major outbreak, headmasters will have the option to close a class for five days or declare a flu holiday. In the event of a change in the situation, the Education Ministry will respond to the situation at hand.
