Grendel to stay with OLaNO, has no plans to join Kiska's party

MP Gabor Grendel, who got into parliament on the slate of the OLaNO party in the 2016 general election and who is a member of the party's caucus, announced on Monday he will again run on OLaNO's slate in the next parliamentary election. "I consider loyalty as one of the key values in politics. OLaNO and especially [its head] Igor Matovic is well-known for dealing with unpleasant topics that other politicians don't have courage to approach. I appreciate Igor Matovic for the things he does in politics and the opportunity OLaNO gave me in the last general election," Grendel said. "For this reason I've decided to return OLaNO's trust by running on their slate in the 2020 general election," he added.
