Greenpeace files complaint against Czech OKD miner over virus spreading

Greenpeace has filed a criminal complaint against the OKD coal mining firm and its management over a suspected spreading of a contagious disease, Greenpeace told CTK on Thursday, adding that OKD failed to stop the operation of the Darkov mine after the local COVID-19 outbreak. By Wednesday, sanitary officers registered a total of 385 people infected with the coronavirus in connection with the local infection epicentre in the OKD-operated Darkov mine.
