Greenpeace calls Czech exemption from Russian oil ban unnecessary

The Greenpeace organisation criticises the exemption from the Russian oil import embargo that the European Commission proposed for Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary last week, and calls it unnecessary for Czechia, which can draw oil from other sources, Greenpeace spokesman Lukas Hrabek said today. In its press release, Greenpeace urged the Czech cabinet to reassess its effort to gain the exemption.
