Greenpeace activists on Tuesday morning hung gigantic black banners with the slogan 'Coal-free Poland by 2030' over the Warsaw headquarters of the two largest Polish political parties: Law and Justice (PiS) and Civic Platform (PO). As Greenpeace explained in its press release on Tuesday, both the ruling party Law and Justice and the largest opposition party Civic Platform have ignored climate protection issues in their election manifestos and have not proposed a coal phase-out date.
