Following collective agreements concluded last year, salaries in state and public service will go up by 3 percent from July 1, according to respective draft government regulations approved by the Slovak cabinet at its regular session on Wednesday. The salary hikes have been incorporated into the 2022 state budget. Those in state service will have a financial impact of 11.3 million euros on the budget, while the financial impact of the public service salary hikes will be 73.4 million euros.
