The Polish government expects the head of Polish diplomacy to give a "decisive response" to the European Union regarding its decision to scrap funding from Polish projects citing discrimination regarding so-called "LGBT-free zones", Deputy State Assets Minister Janusz Kowalski told private broadcaster Polsat News on Wednesday. Earlier this week, EU Equality Commissioner Helena Dalli announced that six applications for project funding under the EU's 'City Partnership' programme had been rejected because Polish local authorities, involved in the projects, adopted discriminating resolutions on "LGBT-free zones" or "family rights."
