Hungary's government and charity organisations have organised summer camps in which over 1,200 children from war-stricken Ukraine have spent their holidays, a state secretary of the Prime Minister's Office said at the Erzsebet Camp in Fonyodliget, at Lake Balaton, on Thursday. Miklos Soltesz, who is the head of the National Humanitarian Coordination Council, said that participants in the camps had come "despite tremendous difficulties" but organisers were doing their best to "provide an experience full of love and friendship".
