Govt bans Czechs' departures abroad, foreigners' entry

The cabinet has banned Czech citizens and foreigners with Czech permanent or longer than 90-day residence permit from leaving Czechia, and imposed a ban on all foreigners' entry into the country, both measures taking effect in the night from Sunday to Monday, PM Andrej Babis said today. Babis (ANO) talked to the media after a cabinet meeting discussing measures against the spread of the new coronavirus infection in the Czech Republic.
