Govt approves establishment of committee to select UVO chair candidates

The government at its online session on Wednesday approved a motion to set up a selection committee to choose candidates for the post of Public Procurement Office (UVO) chair proposed by the cabinet. In addition to setting up the committee, the draft rules for its procedures when selecting suitable candidates, which, among other things, determine the head of the committee, are part of the submitted materials. In line with the rules, the post of committee chair belongs to the Government Office head, a post currently occupied by Julius Jakab.
