Government to decide on COVID testing at schools by mid-August

The Czech government must decide by mid-August whether schools will have to test pupils and students for COVID-19 in the autumn due to the purchases of the necessary tests, Deputy PM and Interior Minister Jan Hamacek told reporters after a meeting of the Central Crisis Staff that he heads today. The supplier of the tests to be used at the beginning of the school attendance in September is to be chosen today, Hamacek added.
