Government: Team of US soldiers can stay in Slovakia until end of 2020

The Government at its session on Wednesday approved an extension of the stay of a United States Armed Forces team in Slovakia for the purpose of providing training and guidance until December 31, 2020, TASR learnt on the same day. A Civil Affairs team composed of four members of the United States Armed Forces is currently deployed with the garrison in Martin (Zilina region). It's carrying out training and consulting tasks as part of civil-military cooperation between the armed forces of Slovakia and the USA.
