Government approves 2022 state budget draft

The Czech cabinet today unanimously approved the state budget draft for this year with a deficit of 280 billion crowns, Finance Minister Zbynek Stanjura said on Twitter, adding that the deficit set by the previous government of Andrej Babis (ANO) was cut by 100 billion without raising taxes. The total revenues of the budget are set at 1,613.2 billion and the expenditures at 1,893.2 billion crowns.
