Government approves Sefcovic as candidate for European Commission

The Government on Wednesday approved the nomination of Maros Sefcovic as Slovakia's candidate for a post in the European Commission for the 2019-24 term. Sefcovic has been representing Slovakia in the Commission since 2009. He currently holds the post of European Commission vice-president for Energy Union.
