Gianni Buquicchio concerned with state of Slovak Constitutional Court

Head of the Constitutional Court Ivan Fiacan held a meeting on Thursday with President of the Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio, who has said that he is disturbed by the vacant positions at the Slovak Constitutional Court, the Court's press team has reported. Buquicchio is concerned that the Court currently lacks six judges and that this state is impacting its decision making activities. At the same time he expressed his satisfaction with the fact that several recommendations of the Venice Commission have been implemented into Slovak law by the Constitutional Court.
