General Assembly elects Czechia to UN Human Rights Council

The UN General Assembly today elected the Czech Republic to the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) as the replacement for Russia, which previously saw its membership suspended over its invasion of Ukraine and later left the 47-member Council, the General Assembly has tweeted.
