Gazprom gas supply cut continues in Slovakia

Russian gas company Gazprom is expected to deliver about half the contracted amount of gas to Slovak gas utility SPP on Monday, company spokesman Ondrej Sebesta told TASR, adding that this reduction has no effect on SPP customers. In recent months, SPP has managed to diversify its gas suppliers by signing contracts for supplies from the North Sea, and by importing liquefied gas by tanker ships. This will cover approximately 65 percent of SPP customers' needs, he said.
