The future of the Czech military lies in modern technologies, artificial intelligence, unmanned vehicles, laser-guided ammunition and robotisation, Chief of Staff Ales Opata said at the command gathering of the Military of the Czech Republic in Prague on Tuesday. He also spoke highly of the nascent five-party coalition government for its plan to earmark 2 percent of GDP for defence. Opata thanked outgoing Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar for having reached progress in military contracts.
