The transformation of Poland's economy, the EU budget and taxes will be on the agenda of an upcoming visit to Poland planned by French President Emmanuel Macron, according to an unofficial PAP source at the French Foreign Ministry. PAP was also told that Macron's visit will probably concern Poland's rule-of-law status. The French president will be accompanied by Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire. It is confirmed that on February 3 Macron will meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, representatives of French societies in Poland as well as having an official supper with Polish academics. On February 4, the French head of state is scheduled to visit Krakow's historical Wawel Castle in southern Poland, and deliver a speech at the Jagiellonian University on Polish-French relations and "the needs of a common contribution to European politics."
