Four people died and 24 have been hospitalised after fire broke out in a hospice in Poland's northern town of Chojnice in the early hours of Monday. The Chojnice mayor has declared two days of mourning in the town. Three people died at the site of the fire and the fourth in hospital, regional governor Dariusz Drelich said on Monday, adding that an investigation into the causes of the disaster is under way. Two hospice employees and two policemen are among the injured. The governor also said that the condition of 20 hospitalised hospice patients was good. No one is in a serious condition, he said.
