A total of four new bridges should be built on the Slovak-Hungarian border by the end of 2023, Hungarian Innovation and Technology Ministry State Secretary Tamas Schanda announced on Wednesday. The Hungarian Parliament is set to approve a Slovak-Hungarian agreement concerning the construction and operation of three bridges in the near future, Hungarian news agency MTI has reported. While three of the planned bridges will be built across the Ipel River, one bridge for pedestrians and cyclists will connect the Danube embankments near the Slovak village of Dobrohost.
