Former regional court judge handed suspended jail sentence for corruption

The Specialised Criminal Court in Banska Bystrica on Wednesday approved a plea bargain between the Special Prosecutors Office and former Zilina regional court judge Pavel Polka, who had been charged with corruption and accepting bribes, handing him a three-year suspended sentence with five years of probation.
