Karel Schwarzenberg, the former leader of the right-wing TOP 09 and former Czech foreign minister, will not seek re-election as an MP in the 2021 general election, he told Reflex.cz server today, one day after the same decision was announced by his fellow TOP 09 MP, Miroslav Kalousek. "I will not be running in the next election. At present, I am the oldest deputy of all and really a very old man," Schwarzenberg, 82, said. "I will continue observing the scene and commenting on it, but I will not seek re-election any more," Schwarzenberg said.
