Scientists from several states have called on Czech Environment Minister Richard Brabec to reconsider the planned new system of zones in the Sumava National Park (NPS) and reinforce the protection of selected localities, Pavel Kindlmann said today. The call was addressed to Brabec by the participants in the Wild Europe international conference held in Bratislava on November 20-21, Kindlmann, one of the signatories, told CTK. The Environment Ministry told CTK it currently has no intention of changing the plan.
