Following signs of revival, Slovakia construction output down again in January

After signs of more optimistic developments at the end of last year, Slovakia's construction output fell again by almost one fifth at the beginning of this year, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Wednesday. In addition to a drop in construction output, the almost 20 percent fall can be ascribed to a high comparison base from January 2020, when the volume of construction output hit a high since 2008.
