Five parties agree to support current Kosice Mayor Polacek in local elections

Five political parties have agreed to support current Kosice mayor Jaroslav Polacek in the local elections due to be held this autumn, Lucia Gurbalova, Kosice vice-mayor and chair of the KDH municipal coordinating committee, has told TASR. The agreement is the result of political negotiations between KDH, Freedom and Solidarity (SaS), We Are Family, Nova and Roma Coalition Parties (SRK) held within the past couple of weeks. "We believe he should finish what he started, and we view him as a guarantee that former practices will not return to the city," said Gurbalova.
