Fitch expects amendment to Poland's 2020 budget

The Law and Justice (PiS) government will present an amended version of the 2020 budget by the end of December in view of the election promises it made, including pension bonus payouts, ratings agency Fitch said on Friday. In the PiS cabinet's second term, a robust economy and improved tax collection will no longer support the budget as strongly as in 2015-2019, according to Fitch.
