First batch of AstraZeneca vaccine to arrive in Czech Republic on Saturday

The first shipment of some 20,000 doses of the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine, which the European Commission approved for use in the EU a week ago, will arrive in the Czech Republic on Saturday, Martin Nesrsta, from the Avenier company that is to secure the distribution of the first supply, has told CTK. Avenier, along with the Health Ministry, will secure the distribution of the first supplies until health insurers choose an official distributor for the AstraZeneca vaccine in a tender.
