Firefighters start draining leaked digestate in Banska Bystrica region

Firefighters have started draining digestate that leaked on Thursday from a bio-gas station in the village of Cabradsky Vrbovok (Banska Bystrica region). "We secured large capacity cesspool emptiers to transport bio-waste. The material will be transported and stored in a safe area," chief of the deployed firefighters Dusan Hancko said. He said the substance flowed into a nearby enclosed canal from which it did not ooze any further.
