FinMin to submit tadjustment to road tax amounting to EUR 30 m

The Finance Ministry will submit to a government meeting a legislative proposal to adjust the motor vehicles tax in the amount of approximately ?30 million, Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenicky (Smer-SD) said on Wednesday following the talks with Transport Minister Arpad Ersek (Most-Hid) and representative of the largest road hauliers association CESMAD Slovakia Pavel Piestansky, adding that he considers this offer to be above standard. Kamenicky stated that they reached an agreement with CESMAD on this proposal.
