The Finance Ministry reported on its website on Monday that a total of 2.17 billion euros of the 6 billion euros that Slovakia is set to receive from the Next Generation EU fund will be invested in a green reform of the economy. The 2 billion euros allocated for this purpose will be used to carry out five reforms. A sum of 220 million euros will be earmarked for supporting renewable sources of energy and bolstering energy networks. Meanwhile, 700 million euros will be invested in the green renovation of buildings, which will entail increasing the energy efficiency of residential homes and public buildings.
