Film incentives bring record nine billion crowns in 2019 to CzechRep

Film incentives brought almost nine billion crowns to the Czech Republic in 2019, the highest sum to date, supporting more than 80 film and series productions mostly by Netflix and Amazon, State Cinematography Fund (SFK) spokesman Jiri Vanek told CTK on Monday. The largest projects included the second season of the Carnival Row series for Amazon and Amazon's and Sony's epic fantasy series The Wheel of Time, both of which will continue filming throughout 2020.
