Fifth day of special session opens with debate on Instanbul Convention

Slovak Parliamentary Chair Andrej Danko opened the fifth day of the special parliamentary session on Tuesday morning. MPs started the day by debating a draft resolution on the Istanbul Convention. This session wasn't originally planned; the parliamentary chair convened it after the government approved three draft amendments. The vote was adjourned on Friday until Tuesday, as parliament did not achieve a quorum during the voting on fast-track proceedings for introducing a thirteenth pension.
