Governing Smer-SD party leader Robert Fico has welcomed the Government's decision to increase the minimum wage from 520 euros to 580 euros per month as of next year, praising Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) for his active role in the process. Smer-SD stated that the draft regulation on the minimum wage increase sponsored by the Labour Ministry has never been questioned within the governing coalition.
