Fico: Smer-SD MPs ready to initiate Matovic's ouster

MPs of the opposition Smer-SD party are ready to initiate a no-confidence motion in Prime Minister Igor Matovic's leadership in parliament, party leader Robert Fico told a news conference on Friday. Fico said that Smer-SD adopted this decision as early as on Thursday and that his party is ready to start gathering signatures in support of the motion. According to Fico, 26 Smer-SD MPs are ready to sign, and the party wants to approach Independents as well.
