Fico insists on voluntary vaccination, doesn't view stance as irresponsible

Opposition Smer-SD party leader Robert Fico said on Thursday that he insists on voluntary vaccination against COVID-19 and a choice of vaccine. Fico reacted in this way to President Zuzana Caputova's call on Wednesday (June 23) for politicians to behave responsibly and not impugn vaccination. Fico said that he doesn't view his position as irresponsible, he just wants people to have enough information. He stated that the president cannot shift responsibility onto anybody but the Government.
