Fico calls for govt plan to resolve public finance issues

Slovakia is currently a country with the worst sustainability of public finances within the EU and facing realistic odds of bankruptcy, hence the government should present a plan to remedy this immediately, opposition's Smer-SD chair Robert Fico said at a press conference on Wednesday. According to Fico, about 8 billion on the expenditure side of the state budget must be fixed in order to stabilise public finances.
