Fiala: New Czech cabinet's policy statement realistic

The new Czech coalition cabinet is not populist, promising nothing it would be unable to deliver on, and its policy statement is realistic, Prime Minister Petr Fiala said in a speech opening the lower house debate before a vote of confidence in his cabinet on Wednesday. He said the goal of his five-party coalition cabinet was to bring Czechia among the world's most advanced states. Its policy statement shows the path to be taken in this respect, he added.
