Fewer Czechs against temporary admission of refugees

June 26th, 2019

Most Czechs are against accepting refugees, but the share of those who think refugees from war-stricken regions should be temporarily accepted increased from 24 percent last October to 31 percent in May, according to the CVVM poll, the results of which were released today. Sixty-three percent of Czechs shared the view that such refugees should not be temporarily accepted now, while 68 percent supported it last autumn. Only 2 percent said the Czech Republic should accept refugees and let them stay in the country forever.
